For forty years, the Kroon family has been baking at the Knead and Feed. The third generation has taken over baking, but the old favorites will always remain on the menu. The next time you are in Coupeville, stop in for a piece of pie and a hot cup of coffee. The grandkids will be happy to show you to Mel’s favorite table.

I distinguish myself from other design professionals as being an architect who has been the General Contractor, job supervisor, and lead frame/finish carpenter on virtually everything I designed over the past 35 years. I’ve gained the type of practical hands- on knowledge and insight with design and detailing that’s impossible to achieve in an office setting. I’m now solely focused on my architectural practice.

The CFA is a group incorporated as a 501(c) 4, constantly looking for ways to increase our net proceeds each year. We strive to keep our overhead costs to a minimum. We have no paid staff. Our group is comprised of well over 250 volunteers who work on various projects throughout the year. It is important to note that our non-profit status lists us as a civic organization. We encourage our sponsors to think of Coupeville Festival sponsorship as an investment in our community. Donations may be considered a business/promotional expense
