AKT Creative (aka KRL color & light) makes paper sheets. Individual pieces range in size from 5″x7″, 8″x12″, 8×24″ or 36″. Each one uniquely hand painted in a variety of palettes.

I am the author and hip-hop artist behind my book series.

My collage is a combination of drawing, painting & sculpting. I use acrylics, watercolors & ink on handmade paper that is cut & shaped for a modern midcentury style. Pieces are glued with wheat paste

I layer handmade and manufactured papers, fabric, and ephemera on old maps in my collage that challenges the observer to take a second look at something ordinary and see it in a new perspective.
