Traveling to Coupeville on Whidbey Island, WA

Drive the scenic route of Highway 20, across Fidalgo Island and Deception Pass Bridge. Deception Pass is a strait separating Whidbey Island from Fidalgo Island. This route brings you through Oak Harbor – approximately 10 miles north of Coupeville.
Requires a 20 minute ferry crossing between Mukilteo, Snohomish County, WA to Clinton, on Whidbey Island in Island County. Ferries run every half hour.

** Travel advisory ** Long traffic lines are part of weekend travel on the Mukilteo to Clinton ferry route. There are NO reservations allowed or required on the Mukilteo to Clinton Ferry. Check http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/ or call 511 for scheduled sailings and travel advisories.

NOTE: The Coupeville Ferry terminal is almost 5 miles from the festival, and there is currently no weekend public transportation available. A car or taxi is recommended.

Need accommodations? BOOK EARLY – Coupeville is a small community, population 1,865. Hotels, B&B’s, etc. fill up quickly. There are larger hotels in Oak Harbor, 10 miles to the north. Visit the following for information on Coupeville and Oak Harbor accommodations.

Festival Hours:

10 AM – 6 PM Saturday
10 AM – 5 PM Sunday

Parking: The Coupeville Boys and Girls Club works in partnership with the Coupeville Festival Association to provide parking for festival visitors and vendors. There is good signage for paid parking coming from the highway and Main Street. All day parking is $5. Proceeds support the Coupeville Boys and Girls Club and Coupeville town projects.

Downtown Restaurants are open during festival set-up and when street parking is closed. Park by the Library in the designated parking area. No fee for parking until festival opens on Saturday morning.

ATM machine on site – inside the Recreation Hall/Juried Art Gallery building at the corner of Alexander and Coveland Streets.

When you are in Coupeville, the BEST place to find additional information is the INFORMATION BOOTH. The Information Booth is located at the corner of Coveland and Alexander Streets.  You can purchase a T-shirt, poster, wine glass or other items at the Information Booth.
